once i was at a vons market in the middle of the night. i was wearing low cut, i dont remember what, & may or may not have been wearing a bra, i dont remember. the SECURITY GUARD, who was a woman, came up to me, grabbed me by the collar & said “you are not coming in here like that!” & then pulled my collar together as if i were so offensive that my needing to buy tomatoes, or whatever, was SO offensive if i didnt do what she said she was gonna call the police. true story.
ps. apologies for the hideous grammar; i was half asleep when i wrote the abovenoted. i just remember how awful &, if i may, absolutely insane that experience was.
